Then you should have no problem joining me in encouraging Drs to unionize to protect their wages and benefits from government control. The problem with you and all liberals joe is you see no problem with unions and liberal organizations buying elections but dont want conservative organizations to have the same oportunities. You joe are the grandest hypocrite of them all!

Rick that has gone back and forth depending on the candidates, so what are you saying, Republicans don't get any special favors? I have felt all along that injecting money into any given election is setting the system up to fail. In the criminal justice system, as well as the Whitehouse, money seems to buy influence, and wealthy corporations take full advantage this. Perfect example is look what health care insurance companies have spent to stop health care reform. Their advertising and their plea to Republicans costed them millions and they had no problem coming up with that kind of cash. Rick people like you despise unions even though the American work force has been better protected, and has over-come the favortism, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and nepostim, to give protection to the common working person. I agree with what the writer states, and yes both sides could learn from this and work on changing these practices. Of course to just blame unions for this practice is nonsense since the practice has gone on for decades and with both parties in the whitehouse.

Talking about buying and selling elections did she mention that the the #1 industry sector making campaign contributions for the 2010 election cycle is laywers and law firms? 80 % of their money goes to Democrats. And we wonder why tort reform isn't in the health care bill.

I would have payed attention to Ms Edwards had she included unions, and their buying of elections, in her comments as well as corporations. Since she only sees half the problem, I am not so interested.
