John in Slumberland. Is there some reason I shouldn't support Barney Frank? By the way, the vote count is in and I just looked outside and the sky hasn't fallen, nor are the flames of Armageddon on the horizon. You and your ilk almost had me scared for awhile.

Bob K. Well, who are YOU talking about? Dick Morris was a Clinton crony back in the 90s until he was photographed sucking the toe(s) of a DC hooker in a DC hotel. But Fox didn't mind so picked him up as an "expert." At what, who knows?

kevin t.....sorry, those questions were sarcasm, showing the fact that this urgent law change needs late Sunday attention so that we do nothing for the next 5 years.....brilliance at its best...in a "historic" and "hopeful" law.......that contains no help at all for the uninsured.

Brian K, from what I understand this bill will not provide benifits till 2014 but monies will be collected imediately, Thats why they can say It wont cost that much during the first 10 years, The 10 year clock starts once it passes, no bennies to those who "Qualify" til 2014. I may be wrong but I could not understand what this bill really means because it refers to other bills passed during the last 10-20 years. Seems to me it would have been cheaper just to continue to take care it the way it was, But I guess we can all fall down together as a nation.

So does this mean with the passage of the health care bill today that the ER at the hospitals will be for paid customers only as of tomarrow? With health care passage they won't need to use the ER anymore, unless its a true emergency, and I won't have to pay for it anymore, correct?
