Between blackmail, threats, lies, etc how can it not be passed? Personal responsibility has been forgotten. Now on too the illegals - lets hurry and make them all legal as that will make up for the voters that switch because of the crooked politicians. If you give them citizenship, social security benefits and more you have a whole lot more demo votes.

Unfortunately Luke J., it's not about sore losers..... the ones that are only thinking about themselves are those that want the gov't to be sure that they can have all their medical bills/insurance paid for by someone else and not be responsible for their own health or care. The people who are against this bill are the people who realize that they will end up paying the bills for others who don't take responsibility for themselves.... "gov't will take care of me so I don't have to work, pay taxes, worry about medical bills." Liberty and freedom are extended to all in this county, thanks to the people who have fought and died so those who want the freebies don't have to leave their comfort zone. They are the ones simply worried about themselves. You mis-take how Jesus lived... He did not take charity out of OTHER people's pockets to give to the poor or to line his own... That's what this bill does. He gave of HIMself to others, and I have seen people do that over and over for someone who has a medical condition or other situation that puts them in a position where they were unable to take of alone. Jesus emptied HIMself for others, did not depend on others or the government to take care of it for him! That's the difference and why people are offended and disagree with this bill. We just made another large group of people DEPENDENT on others/gov't instead of teaching them to care for themselves.

Lots of sore losers. Is the sky really falling? This must be how people felt when they lost in the women's suffrage movement, civil rights etc. Must really hurt to lose, and have rights and benefits, health and wholeness, liberty and freedom extended to others. What it boils down to for most is they are simply worried about themselves. Not about anybody else. Sure glad that's not the way Jesus lived his life. He literally emptied himself for others.

Forget about the november elections. Now that they got away with this monstrocity, there is still plenty of time for them to pass whatever they want to, so by november it will be against the law to vote them out. The day after the election in 2008, I said "I'll say I told you so now, because when he gets through with all his changes, it will be to late to say it". I was ridiculed, but now maybe people will learn I was right. Good luck!

Based on the actions this week.......I have now "deemed" it that I have a "right" to not send back my census form in the hopes that our representation will go to a Rep state such as Texas. I warned Mr Peterson, regardless of whether he votes no, if this passes, he will not get my vote again.....since he has been sooooooo vocal with his gutless "no" position. Get the Constitutional lawyers ready to go and warm up the bus.........
