Judith Hukriede Nov. 14, 1930 – Nov. 4, 2009

DARWIN — Judith Laura Hukriede, 78, of Litchfield died Nov. 4 at Golden Living Center in Olivia.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at United Methodist Church in Litchfield, with burial in Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.

Visitation will be for a half hour before the service at the church. Arrangements are with Hantge Funeral Chapel in Darwin.

She was born Nov. 14, 1930, in Forest Prairie Township, Meeker County, to Martin and Jorgine (Ommundson) Lunderby.

She married Gordon Hukriede on Nov. 14, 1948, in Litchfield. They lived in Litchfield for more than 40 years before moving to Brainerd. She worked at Dr. Lowell Wilson’s chiropractic office for 30 years and as a cook for the Litchfield School District. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield and Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter.

She is survived by her son: Randy (and Marilyn) Hukriede of Litchfield; three grandchildren; and one brother: Alf Lunderby of Northfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband on July 27, seven brothers, two sisters and two brothers in infancy.
