WILLMAR — Brandon Dan Thorson, 21, of New London, was sentenced Monday to one year and one day in prison, which was stayed, three years of probation, 54 days in jail and a $1,500 fine on a felony charge of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle for running from a Kandiyohi County sheriff’s deputy at speeds reaching 104 mph.
