John Stout of rural Lake Lillian fuels up his van Saturday with a bucket of wood during a trip to Willmar. The drive was the first trip Stout and his wife made in the wood-powered vehicle he built from junk parts. The engine of the vehicle is powered by methane gas through the burning of wood.
