LITTLE FALLS — Willmar won half of the 12 events Friday in a Central Lakes Conference dual with Little Falls, but the home team had more depth as the Flyers edged the Cardinals 96-90 in the regular-season finale.

NLS enjoys first unbeaten regular season in 36 years
For the first time since 1973, the New Lodon-Spicer Wildcats football team went unbeaten in the regular season. The Wildcats capped off the regular season Tuesday night in New London with a 29-14 triumph over Foley. That win also gave NLS the West Central North Conference title outright for the second straight year.
