College softball: Ridgewater wins 1st-round game, loses in 2nd round in national tourney
The Warriors are .500 after the opening day of the NJCAA Division III national championship at the McQuillan Softball Complex in Rochester.
They beat No. 3 Anne Arundel CC in the first round before losing to No. 2 Tompkins in the second.
The Warriors (35-11) play DuPage (Ill.) today at 10 a.m. The winner stays alive in the championship bracket but the loser slips to the consolation bracket.
