Glenwood teen reported missing

GLENWOOD -- The sudden disappearance of an 18-year-old Glenwood man Tuesday has authorities asking for help from the public.

Christopher Geiser disappeared after leaving for a 5-minute commute to work around 6:45 a.m., Geiser's father Bruce said. Chris works for a tree service business.

"He didn't come home," Bruce said in a phone interview Wednesday night. "He left for work yesterday at his normal time and never showed up."

His father said skipping work wasn't typical for Chris who liked his job.

"It's just not like him," Bruce said.

According to a press release from the Pope County Law Enforcement Center, Chris has not been heard from since his disappearance. Chris is described as being 6 feet tall, 165 pounds, with green eyes and very short dark blond hair. He was driving a 1993 blue Chevy Lumina with a license plate number of DCK899. The Glenwood Police Department and Pope County Sheriff's Office are urging anyone with information to call the Pope County Law Enforcement Center at 320-634-4518 or 320-634-5411.
