Berge J. Saboe March 13, 1924 - June 2, 2008
DAWSON -- Berge Jerome Saboe, 84, of Dawson died Monday at his home.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson.
He was born March 13, 1924, in Dawson to Anton and Martha (Rasmussen) Saboe. He attended school in Dawson.
He married Gladys Block on April 18, 1954, in Appleton. He was a truck driver for several different companies, worked on road construction and for Culligan of Appleton. They moved to Dawson and he worked for the city of Dawson street department. He worked for the city of Dawson for 22 years. He retired and helped Dennis Boraas on his farm.
He is survived by his children: Mark (and Lindy) Saboe and Debra (and Richard) Farmen, all of Dawson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother: Joe (and Pat) Saboe of Dawson.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2006, five brothers and four sisters.
