WILLMAR -- Theft was reported around 4:15 p.m. Thursday from Famous Footwear in Kandi Mall, 1605 First St. S. The caller indicated that mall security chased a male suspect out of the mall after he stole a pair of shoes from Famous Footwear. According to the incident report, the suspect lost the new shoes and security had a box with his old shoes inside them. The stolen shoes were valued at $99.
RAYMOND -- A gas drive-off was reported around 7 p.m. Thursday from the Cenex Convenience Store, 104 Babcock Ave. E. According to the report, a male suspect driving a white Oldsmobile Cutlass paid $10 at the convenience store for pumped gas. After paying, the suspect put another $40.65 worth of fuel in his tank before leaving without paying for it.
WILLMAR -- Shoplifting was reported around 7 p.m. Thursday from Cub Foods, 2201 First Ave. S. A 28-year-old Redwood Falls woman was arrested and will be arraigned for the shoplifting offense.
WILLMAR -- A military ID and Social Security card were reported stolen around 9:15 p.m. from an apartment complex on the 400 block of 15th Avenue Southwest. The caller indicated that her roommate had a missing check card a week prior. A male party who had lived with the caller for a while is suspected of the crime.
SPICER -- A wallet was reported stolen around 8:45 p.m. Thursday from the 7200 block of 140th Avenue Northeast.
WILLMAR -- Theft was reported around 8:45 p.m. Thursday from the Super 8 Motel, 2655 First St. S. The caller indicated that a woman staying with him at the motel took off in a red Chevy Pickup with $400 of his money and his orange T-Mobile cell phone. The suspect, a 43-year-old Litchfield woman, was found and arrested.
Damage to property
WILLMAR -- Damage to a vehicle was reported around 7 a.m. Thursday from Willmar Electric Service, 320 Becker Ave. S.W. The caller indicated the windshield of a company vehicle was damaged sometime Wednesday evening.
WILLMAR -- A broken window was reported around 8:15 a.m. Thursday from EcoWater Systems, 101 Litchfield Ave. S.E. An employee told authorities that rocks were thrown through a window on the building's west side. The incident happened sometime between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 7:45 a.m. Thursday.
WILLMAR -- Graffiti was reported around 9:15 a.m. Thursday from the intersection of 12th Street Northwest and Ella Avenue. Black-colored graffiti was reportedly sprayed on a sidewalk at the intersection.
SUNBURG -- Mailbox damage was reported around 7 p.m. Thursday from the 3900 block of 240th Avenue Northwest.
