Property damage

WILLMAR -- A damaged mailbox was reported around 11:25 a.m. Monday along the 600 block of Ninth Street Southeast.

WILLMAR -- Graffiti was reported around 11 a.m. Monday along the 500 block of Lakeland Drive Southeast.


WILLMAR -- The theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle was reported around 4:20 p.m. Monday at West Central Roofing, 4004 Highway 71 N.E.

WILLMAR -- A gas drive-off theft was reported around 4:30 p.m. Monday from Little Dukes, 1300 Fifth St. S.E. The unpaid bill was $13.


WILLMAR -- A home burglary was reported around 4:20 p.m. Monday along the 1200 block of Grace Avenue Southwest. The caller reported someone had entered the home, taken a watch and rifled through belongings. A possible juvenile male suspect has been identified by police.

Fire call

PRIAM -- The Willmar and Raymond Fire Departments responded to a machinery fire around 5 p.m. Monday near the intersection of 45th Avenue and 75th Street Southwest.

Teen turned over to parent after altercation with officer

WILLMAR -- A 13-year-old boy was turned over to his father after an altercation around 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Kandi Mall parking lot.

An off-duty officer observed a teen male throwing items at vehicles in an apparent effort to damage the cars. The officer confronted the teen and, during the altercation, took the teen to the ground. On-duty Willmar police officers came to the scene and assisted.


BLOMKEST -- Three people were arrested for first-degree drug possession with intent to sell around 7:30 p.m. Monday after law enforcement served a search warrant on a home along the 400 block of 135th Avenue Southeast. A 38-year-old man, a 33-year-old Spicer woman and the 48-year-old man who lived at the home were arrested.

WILLMAR -- A 19-year-old Willmar man was arrested for driving while impaired and for violating an instruction permit around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday along State Highway 23 at 47th Street. The vehicle involved in the arrest was reported stolen around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday from along the 900 block of Ella Avenue Northwest.
