Icy road leads to DWI arrest
KANDIYOHI -- A 26-year-old male faces a charge of fourth-degree driving while impaired after losing control of his vehicle at 2:25 a.m. Sunday on an icy road.
He was driving a 1994 Chevrolet S10 pickup with a squad car behind him when the vehicle spun on the road and went into the ditch near the intersection of County Roads 23 and 8 south of Kandiyohi.
RAYMOND -- A man wanted on a Lyon County warrant is in custody after he and two companions aroused the suspicions of a rural Raymond resident.
The resident reported that three men were at his door at 1:06 a.m. Saturday looking for help after claiming they had gone into a ditch while using a neighbor's driveway. The caller said the men appeared suspicious, and a sheriff's officer responding to the incident took one of the three into custody on the outstanding warrant.
WILLMAR -- A Willmar woman told police on Saturday that her camera and laptop had been stolen from her residence on the 800 block of Augusta Avenue Southeast after hosting visitors on Dec. 18.
