Sanderson Lake in Swift County opened to fishing
SUNBURG -- Sanderson Lake in northeastern Swift County has been opened to liberalized fishing, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources announced today.
Lakes are opened to liberalized fishing when oxygen levels in the water become low enough to endanger the fish population.
Fishing will be allowed at Sanderson Lake, also known as Sandberg Slough, until Feb. 2. Signs are posted along the shore.
Anglers are asked to use caution and check ice conditions before venturing out onto the ice.
