Duininck's crew going around the clock
FARGO N.D. -- Drivers with Duininck Bros. Inc. of Prinsburg, are working around the clock to help shore up levees in Fargo, N.D., to protect against a rising Red River.
A team of 30 drivers is keeping 14 trucks on the go hauling clay and gravel material to build up emergency levees in the city.
"Busy,'' said foreman Mike Felt when reached by cell phone on Tuesday.
The drivers reached Fargo on Monday and have been keeping the trucks on the go ever since.
"It's more like what part of the city haven't we been to,'' said Felt when asked what part of town they are working in. He said volunteers are working all over the community as well, stacking sandbags to protect the most flood vulnerable areas of the community.
