Juvenile passenger, driver to hospital after 19th Avenue crash

WILLMAR -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday along 19th Avenue Southeast.

According to the crash report from the Willmar Police Department, Carole Palm, 70, of Willmar, was driving a 2001 Ford that collided with a 1996 Ford Explorer driven by Wanda Moen, 28, of New London. Palm was taken to the hospital by private vehicle and a passenger in Moen's vehicle, Namira Moen, 8, was taken by ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital.

The crash happened just east of First Street, at the entrances to the Kandi Mall and Cub Foods and Culver's restaurant.
