WILLMAR -- The Willmar Police Department received a report on Thursday of the theft of a stereo from a car parked in the 300 block of Bernard Street Southeast. The caller said the theft occurred last week.


ECHO -- The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office was notified at 10:57 p.m. Thursday of a one-vehicle rollover crash on County Road 1 approximately two miles east of Echo. A vehicle driven by Kimberly Seebeck of Cottonwood lost control on the slippery road.

Seebeck was trapped in the vehicle and was later taken to Marshall for medical attention, said Deputy Sheriff Erik Knutson. The Echo Police Department, Echo First Responders, Belview First Responders, Cottonwood Ambulance and North Ambulance also responded to the scene.

Narcotics arrest

GROVE CITY -- Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin said his office and the CEE VI Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 107 Axel Ave., in Grove City at 6 p.m. on Thursday as part of a narcotics investigation.

Norlin said multiple items were seized, including methamphetamine paraphernalia, marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Officers arrested a 37-year-old man and a 29-year-old-woman on felony charges of methamphetamine paraphernalia in the presence of a child, fifth-degree drug possession and child endangerment.

They were booked into Meeker County Jail and formal charges are pending through the Meeker County Attorney's office.

Litchfield Police assisted.
