Jennie-O launches online community
WILLMAR -- Hormel Foods-owned Jennie-O Turkey Store has launched a comprehensive wellness center online at WellnessDaily.com.
The new Web site is an online community that collects the latest news, healthy living blogs, expert opinions, easy nutritious recipes and videos on a variety of topics including weight loss, healthy eating, exercise and mental well-being.
The move offers another tool to Jennie-O brand customers who have an interest in health and wellness. Through branding and healthy recipes containing turkey products, Jennie-O Turkey Store hopes that the site will introduce new health-conscious consumers to the brand and increase the loyalty of current consumers.
A member e-newsletter will announce monthly promotional offers, seasonal recipes and new health and wellness content to keep users coming back for more.
To encourage sign-ups as well as product trial, Jennie-O Turkey Store will provide a rebate for the purchase price of one product (up to $5) for the first 25,000 registered users.
