ST. PAUL (AP) -- Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is making another trip to Iowa as he explores a possible 2012 bid for president.

Pawlenty is scheduled to spend two days in Iowa. The second day of his trip includes a visit to the Iowa State Fair on Thursday.

He'll also spend time campaigning for Republican candidates, including state Sen. Brad Zaun's congressional bid against incumbent Democratic Rep. Leonard Boswell.

It's Pawlenty's fourth trip to Iowa since he ruled out seeking a third term as governor. He was in eastern Iowa earlier this month.

Pawlenty won't formally decide whether to run for president until early next year. Iowa traditionally holds the caucus that kicks off the nominating process.
