Two treated, released after motorcycle-deer crash

GRANITE FALLS -- Two people were treated and released for injuries sustained in a motorcycle-deer crash around 9:15 p.m. Sunday northwest of Granite Falls.

According to the State Patrol, Matthew J. Fischer, 22, of Willmar, was driving a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Highway 212 when the cycle struck a deer. Fischer and his passenger, Kelsey J. Jacobs, 21, of Bird Island, were both taken to Granite Falls Hospital. Neither was wearing a helmet.
