SPICER -- Break-ins of two fish houses on Green Lake were reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office. The break-ins were reported on Friday and Sunday. Among the items taken were a DVD player and plastic cabinet.
WILLMAR -- The driver of a gold minivan drove off without paying for $51.49 in gasoline at Cub Foods on Saturday, according to a report to Willmar police. The theft of 14.5 gallons of gas occurred at about noon.
SPICER -- A New London man reported to the Sheriff's Office on Friday afternoon that his aluminum trailer valued at $1,800 had been stolen from a location in the 300 block of Oak Street South in New London.
WILLMAR -- Tire tracks indicated a vehicle with dual rear wheels was apparently used to destroy a 5½-foot by 12-inch driveway marker post at Willmar Auto Sales at County Road 9 Northeast. The sign was either pulled or pushed over.
WILLMAR -- Willmar police investigated a burglary Friday afternoon at a residence in the 1400 block of Becker Avenue Southeast. A neighbor alerted police to the break-in. Entry was gained through a north bedroom window. Guns and coins were taken.
WILLMAR -- One person was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar for treatment of a back injury suffered in a two-vehicle crash at about 3 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Seventh Street and Litchfield Avenue Southwest. No other information was available from Willmar police. The Willmar Fire Department assisted at the scene.
