Willmar grower honored for service

BUFFALO -- Second-generation turkey farmer Kim Gorans of Willmar has been honored by the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association for his many years of service to the organization's board of directors.

Gorans, co-owner of Gorans Brothers family turkey farm south of Willmar, has been a member of the association's board since 1999 and is the current past president. He has also served on several committees, according to information from the Turkey Growers Association.

Gorans Brothers currently consists of 14 family members plus additional employees. They raise 45 million pounds of heavy toms, operate a feed mill, and crop farm.
