Children/family events

New London: 3 to 5 p.m. today, trick or treat at the New London merchants and the Glen Oaks campus.

Spooky Tales: 4 p.m. today, for kindergarten through grade 4, Willmar Public Library. Come dressed in your costumes and listen to scary stories, make a creepy craft, play spooky games and have a sweet treat.

Fall festival: 4:30 to 6 p.m. today, Peace Lutheran Church, New London. Games, crafts, and treats for all children ages 10 and under. Cost is $2 per child or $5 maximum per family. Costumes welcome, but not required. Parents, please plan to stay with your child.

Spooky Dungeon: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. today, Pennock Community Center. Trick-or-treat stop, tour the Spooky Dungeon, cider and cookies.

Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree: 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. today, First Baptist Church, Willmar. Fun for all ages, 0 to 99; carnival games, food, candy car collection, face painting; inflatables, snacks, dress in non-scary outfit, free, everyone welcome.

Mall-O-Ween: 6 to 7 p.m. today, Kandi Mall, Willmar. Open to children 12 and under and their parents to go store to store trick-or-treating.

Darkside Manor: 6 to 9 p.m. today, 134 Third Ave., Spicer. Annual haunted house, free admission.

Olivia haunted house and tour: 6 to 9 p.m. today, 312 North St., Olivia. Zombie crawl at 9 p.m., free admission.

Adult events

Halloween party: Today, Willmar Veterans of Foreign Wars club, costume contest.

Halloween party: Today, American Legion in Spicer, music by Meder, costume contest at 11 p.m.
