Cold wind chills continue through morning in west central Minn.

An arctic air mass is invading the Midwest and parts of the eastern U.S., bringing with it the coldest air so far this season for many areas. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday remaining below zero for parts of the Upper Midwest, in the single digits to teens across the Ohio Valley and into the Northeast and in the 20s and 30s from the Mid-Atlantic into southern New England.

The cold Arctic system is slowly moving toward the eastern United States.

 West central and central Minnesota will continue to experience wind chill values between 25 below to 40 below through this morning.

Light snow likely after midnight, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 3 below.
