Tires slashed, plates taken

WILLMAR — Police in Willmar are investigating a spate of tire slashings and license plate thefts.

Police believe eight vehicles were struck in a series of incidents Sunday night into Monday in Willmar.

The reports came from vehicles parked on the 600 block of 14th Street Southwest near the Willow Run Apartments and ACMC Clinic, 13½ Avenue Southwest and on Second Street Southwest.

Snow blower tossed in river

NEW LONDON — A stolen snow blower was found dumped in the Middle Fork of the Crow River just north of New London near Kandiyohi County Road 9 on Sunday morning.

Accident on First Street

WILLMAR — Minor injuries were reported in an accident that obstructed traffic on First Street South at noon on Monday. A Ford Focus was northbound on First Street South when struck by a Land Rover which was eastbound and attempting to cross to the McDonald’s parking lot on the 700 block.


RAYMOND — A portable generator described as blue in color was stolen from a residence on the 500 block of Fourth Avenue in Raymond, its owner reported Monday.
