The 25-foot long pontoon boat was stolen on Sunday from where it is kept in the parking lot of the Tru Valu Store at 625 Legion Drive. Three different individuals believe they saw the pontoon being pulled by a dark colored pickup truck that night.

Police have reported sightings of what is believed to be the pontoon near Clara City and Raymond on Minnesota Trunk Highway 23 on Sunday evening, and later, on U.S. Highway 71 near Belgrade, according to Sergeant Ken Schule with the Montevideo Police.

Stolen is a 2006 model Clipper DLX. It has a collapsible canopy, and large markings with the Let’s Go Fishing logo as well as the names of supporting businesses in Montevideo.

Anyone with information should contact the Montevideo Police at 320-269-8808.
