Spicer woman injured in rollover
SPICER — A 30-year-old Spicer woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident Sunday night after the truck she was driving left the road and rolled in a lightly wooded field west of Spicer.
The woman, who was not identified in a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, was extricated from the 2001 Ford Ranger by the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad and taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar with non-life-threatening injuries.
She was wearing a seatbelt, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The accident was reported at 6:19 p.m. Sunday in the 5400 block of 97th Avenue Northwest. The vehicle was going west on 97th Avenue before it left the road and rolled.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Spicer Fire Department, Spicer First Responders, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad and Willmar Ambulance.
The accident remains under investigation, according to Sheriff Dan Hartog.
WILLMAR — A 55-year-old man was arrested Monday night on felony theft charges from Menards in Willmar. A preliminary police report showed Menards filing seven reports of theft between 6:56 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.
The suspect was arrested and is being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending a court appearance.
WILLMAR — A window on an ice cabin was reported damaged at 4:49 p.m. Monday on Long Lake. The damage was estimated at $200.
