PAYNESVILLE — A Paynesville man was injured when the semitractor-trailer he was driving collided with a dump truck in Meeker County.
The accident was reported at 2:48 p.m. Tuesday on state Highway 55, near 587th Avenue, in Manannah Township.
According to the State Patrol, Ryan Joseph Peresko, 31, of Paynesville, was driving a 1991 International east on Highway 55 and had moved to the right to navigate a narrow left turn into a driveway.
The tractor-trailer began making a left-hand turn when an eastbound 2002 International dump truck, driven by David Robert Boettcher, 46, of Litchfield, was unable to stop, moved to the left and struck the cab of the semitractor.
Peresko was taken to Paynesville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol report.
Boettcher was not injured.
WILLMAR — An individual in the 900 block of Irene Avenue Southeast reported a case of fraud Tuesday morning. The individual indicated fraudulent charges were made on their bank account.
WILLMAR — A motorized mini-bike was reported stolen Tuesday morning from Runnings, 3031 1st Street Southwest.
