Teen airlifted after Meeker County crash

GROVE CITY – A teenager was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Danielson Township in Meeker County.

According to a news release from the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicles collided at the intersection of 545th Avenue and 210th Street about five miles south of Grove City.

A 2003 Ford F350 driven by Thomas Huisman, 29, of rural Atwater, was traveling east on 210th street, and a 2000 Chevy Cavalier driven by Justin Voss, 17, of Grove City, was traveling north on 545th Avenue when they collided in the intersection.

Huisman was uninjured. Voss was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to the release.

Assisting at the scene were Gold Cross Ambulance, Grove City Rescue and Lifelink assisted on scene.
