Arrest

WILLMAR — Five people were arrested Wednesday in Willmar in connection with a string of burglaries that occurred in Meeker County and the city of Litchfield.

The arrests were made after law enforcement officers from the Meeker County Sheriff's Office, Litchfield Police Department, Willmar Police Department, Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office and the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force executed a warrant Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of Southwest 15th Avenue in Willmar.

Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze said in a news release that as a result of the search warrant, four grams of methamphetamine were recovered as well as additional evidence connected to the burglary investigation.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested for possession of stolen property and brought to the Meeker County Jail.

A 45-year-old man, a 26-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man and a 50-year-old man were arrested on drug-related charges and taken to the Kandiyohi County Jail.

Cruze said the investigation is "active and ongoing" and that anyone with additional information is asked to call the Meeker County Sheriff's Office, the Litchfield Police Department or Minnesota Crime Stoppers at www.crimestoppersmn.org.

Harassment

WILLMAR — A Willmar woman reported to police Wednesday afternoon that her daughter was being bullied by people through instant messaging.

Theft

WILLMAR — A propane tank was reported stolen from the 200 block of Porto Rico Street Northeast in Willmar. The theft was reported Thursday morning.

WILLMAR — The theft of items from a storage unit along U.S. Highway 71 Northeast was reported Thursday morning.

Property damage

LAKE LILLIAN — A woman reported that she had found a person in her vehicle Wednesday night in the 400 block of First Street West.
