Pursuit

WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office assisted the Renville County Sheriff's Office in the arrest of a 22-year-old man who had led officers on a chase that began in Renville County. The suspect was arrested at 5:54 a.m. Wednesday when his vehicle was stopped with spike strips on Kandiyohi County Road 7, just south of U.S. Highway 12.

The suspect entered Kandiyohi County from Renville County on County Road 44, according to a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Renville County Jail pending charges.

The Willmar Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol also assisted.

Thefts

WILLMAR — A Dodge Durango was reported stolen Wednesday from the 1300 block of Fifth Street Southeast in Willmar.

WILLMAR — A license plate was reported stolen Wednesday from a vehicle on the 1700 block of 41st Avenue Northeast, Willmar.

NEW LONDON — Equipment was stolen from a company's shop on the 20000 block of County Road 9 Northeast, New London, it was reported on Wednesday morning.

NEW LONDON — A vehicle was reported stolen Tuesday from the 24000 block of 55th Street Northeast, New London.

RAYMOND — A vehicle was broken into and its contents stolen, and some items damaged, while parked on the 400 block of Cofield Street South, Raymond, it was reported Wednesday morning.

An Echo chainsaw and black case holding it were reported stolen from another residence on the 400 block of Cofield Street South, Raymond.

Break-in

WILLMAR — Police responded to a report of a break-in at 7:17 a.m. Wednesday at an apartment on the 200 block of Third Street Southwest in Willmar. The suspects, two white females and one white male, were reported to still be in the apartment building when the victim reported the break-in.
