Willmar Police arrest fugitive from Nebraska

Body:

WILLMAR — Willmar Police officers arrested a Nebraska woman Tuesday afternoon on charges of forgery and being a fugitive from justice.

A warrant had been issued for Larios after she was reported in February to be missing with her three sons, all younger than 5. At the time she was believed to be headed to Minnesota, according to a news release from the Willmar Police Department.

Juana Jose Larios, 21, was arrested, and her three sons, all younger than 5, were placed in the custody of Kandiyohi County Family Services. The children were all found to be in good health.

A business in the 2400 block of Fourth Avenue Southwest reported Tuesday afternoon that Larios was working there under an alias. Larios cooperated with officers and took them to her home in the 600 block of 18th Street Southwest.

According to a news release, Larios had lost custody of her children and had allegedly taken them from Norfolk, Nebraska, on Feb. 19. A warrant for her arrest was issued in March for obstructing a court order.

Larios is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail. Family Services is making arrangements to return the children to Madison County, Nebraska, according to the release.
