Muna Abdulahi, a U.S. Senate Page last summer in Washington, D.C., will be introduced by Sen. Al Franken at Sunday’s Willmar High School commencement.

Muna is one of three student speakers.

At Thursday’s final graduation practice, Principal Paul Schmitz announced that the Senator would be a guest speaker and congratulate each graduate individually.

Schmitz said the Senator’s office contacted the school and senior class adviser Amy Grussing to ask if it would be OK if the Senator attended commencement because he’d been so impressed by Muna during her time as his Senate Page.
