WILLMAR - Children and their guardians attended Kennedy Elementary School's Open House Wednesday evening to allow students to familiarize themselves with the school, their new classrooms, and lockers before the school year begins on Tuesday.

Open houses were also held Wednesday at Roosevelt and Lakeland elementary schools, Willmar Middle School, Willmar Senior High, Jefferson Learning Center and the Area Learning Center for Willmar Public Schools.
