The charge was filed after a Willmar police officer was called to a business in the Industrial Park area on May 5 to take a report on property damage. A man reported that the exterior of his vehicle had been scratched and gouged between 5:40 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. on May 5. Later, the officer received information that Berres was in the area of the business that morning.
