KANDIYOHI — A fire caused by a power line down in a harvested corn field was reported at Sunday afternoon along 90th Street Southeast near Kandiyohi. The Kandiyohi Fire Department responded.


PENNOCK — A Benson man was injured when the milk hauler he was driving flipped Friday on 120th Street Northwest northwest of Pennock. According to the initial report, the truck flipped upside down and the driver was conscious with his legs pinned. Douglas Alan Young, 47, of Benson was transported by Willmar Ambulance Service.


SPICER — One woman was arrested early Saturday after a fight in the parking lot at Zorbaz, 151 Lake Ave. S., Spicer. The fight involved three women, according to the initial complaint report, and one person was arrested, a 22-year-old woman from Kerkhoven.

Property damage

PENNOCK — Damage at Dilley’s Resort on Norway Lake was reported Saturday evening. A window had been broken and damage done to the restroom building sometime in the last week.

WILLMAR — The driver’s side front and rear tires were reported slashed on a vehicle parked in the 3000 block of Seventh Avenue Northwest. The damage was reported Saturday morning.


RAYMOND — Farm equipment was reportedly stolen from Steffen Implement, 603 Babcock Ave. E., in Raymond. The theft was reported shortly after noon Saturday.

WILLMAR — A woman who had left her purse in a cart at Wal-Mart reported that it was gone when she went to retrieve it late Saturday. The black, shoulder-strap purse contained several credit cards.
