WILLMAR — An amplifier and two subwoofers were reported stolen from a vehicle parked outside the Jennie-O Turkey Store main plant. The theft was reported early Friday morning.

Property damage

ATWATER — Authorities received three reports of fish houses being broken into or damaged on Lake Elizabeth near Atwater. The reports were called in Friday morning.

SPICER — A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Lakeview Drive in Spicer reportedly had its tires slashed. The damage was reported Friday morning.

District court, Kandiyohi County

- Shannon Leslie Dahlheimer, 29, of Willmar made a first appearance in Kandiyohi County District Court Friday on a felony charge of offering a forged check.

Dahlheimer is accused of passing 10 forged checks in Spicer, Willmar and Kandiyohi beginning in August. Investigation in Kandiyohi County revealed similar instances of forged checks in Swift and Stearns counties.

The checks were from the checking account of a woman whose purse had been stolen in Willmar in August.

Dahlheimer was allegedly identified using surveillance video and still photos from the businesses and by witnesses, according to the criminal complaint filed against her.

Bail was set at $10,000 cash or bond without conditions and $3,000 cash or bond with conditions.

Her next court date will be at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 27.
