Stewart man gets 59 months in prison for methamphetamine deal in Willmar

WILLMAR — Patrick Steven Lee Witthus, 28, of Stewart, was sentenced Thursday to 58 months in prison and a $5,000 fine on a second-degree drug sale charge for selling 10 grams of methamphetamine to a CEE-VI Drug Task Force informant in May 2012.

Witthus was given credit for 127 days already served as part of his sentence handed down by District Judge Donald Spilseth in Kandiyohi County District Court. Witthus pleaded guilty to the charge in August.

The charge was filed after May 4, 2012, when the informant purchased the meth from Witthus while parked in the Wal-Mart Supercenter lot in Willmar.
