MONTEVIDEO — The Minnesota State Patrol said Tanner T. Lageson, 20, of Montevideo received a non-life-threatening injury when the 2000 Jeep Cherokee he was driving rolled over Wednesday morning on State Highway 40 at Chippewa County Road 2.

The patrol said Lageson was westbound on Highway 40 when he was distracted by a dog. The Jeep entered the south ditch and rolled. Lageson was treated at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Damage to the Jeep was severe, the patrol said.

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

Stolen vehicle recovered

BLOMKEST — The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday evening recovered a stolen truck parked since Sunday on a gravel road at 210th Avenue Southwest and County Road 5. The vehicle, owned by Duininck Inc., was unlocked.


WILLMAR — Grand Rental Station on Highway 12 East reported to Willmar Police that a rented trailer had not been returned. The report said the store sent a five-day demand letter to the last known address of the person who had rented the 5-by-8 enclosed Continental Cargo trailer.
