WILLMAR — A woman reported at 6 p.m. Friday that a person had called her claiming to be with the Internal Revenue Service. She was told that she owed $2,987 and needed to meet the person at Home Depot or she would be arrested. She contacted authorities. No one showed up when they went to meet the person at Home Depot.


WILLMAR — A John Deere 485X lawnmower and other items were reported stolen from a storage unit in the 4500 block of Highway 71 Northeast. The theft was reported at 12:23 p.m. Sunday.

Property damage

WILLMAR — A resident in the 700 block of Mary Avenue Southeast reported that a cement planter had been overturned and landscape rocks scattered on the lawn. A rock had also been through on top of a screened enclosure in the back yard. The damage was reported at 8:37 a.m. Friday.


WILLMAR — A 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired at 2:45 a.m. Sunday at 23rd Street Northwest and Horizon Hills Road.

SPICER — A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault at 6:24 p.m. Friday in the 13000 block of Green Lake Boulevard in Spicer.
