Kandiyohi County Commissioners meet Tuesday
WILLMAR - The Kandiyohi County Commissioners meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Health and Human Services building for their regular meeting.
Items on the agenda include updates on the Central Minnesota Jobs and Training program and the Resource Conservation and Development program.
The board is expected to take action on a federal boating safety supplement grant, a resolution for the Region 6E Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance program and a request by Benson Air Ag Inc to spray for tent worm caterpillars.
At 11 a.m. action will be taken on conditional use permits, followed by discussion on whether to award bids for a new county rescue squad building and a new building for the humane society.
At 11:30 a.m. the county will take action on an agreement to construct a railway crossing on County Road 1 in Pennock.
At 9 a.m., prior to the board meeting, the commissioners will meet as the family services committee. Items on that agenda include an reports on the Parents Forever program and child care support services at the YMCA Childcare Center as well as approval of several contracts.
The Health and Human Services building is located at 2200 23 St NE in Willmar. The commissioners' meeting room is on the second floor.
