Tornado warning issued for parts of Swift and Pope counties until 4:45 p.m.
The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a tornado warning for south central Pope County and northeastern Swift County in west central Minnesota until 4:45 p.m.
At 4:07 p.m., law enforcement a confirmed tornado was located west of Benson, and moving northeast at 20 mph.
This is damaging tornado with flying debris that will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile Homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
The Tornado will be near Lake Hassel around 4:25 p.m. Other locations in the warning include Swift Falls.
