WILLMAR -- Jarod Denis Siegfried, 28, of Kerkhoven, pleaded guilty Monday to an amended charge of fourth-degree drug possession with intent to sell for possessing methamphetamine seized by CEEVI Drug Task Force agents in November.

As part of a plea agreement reached in Kandiyohi County District Court, the charge was lowered from a third-degree charge and three additional felony charges for drug and paraphernalia possession and sale will be dismissed. He will be sentenced April 12.

Siegfried and Ashley May Anderson, 26, were charged after agents from the CEEVI Drug Task Force served a warrant around 6:30 a.m. Nov. 25 on a home in the southwest quadrant of the city. A previous garbage search had revealed Anderson and Siegfried lived there. Another man and a 16-year-old boy were also located in the home.

Anderson has pleaded not guilty to four felony charges for drug sale and possession and for storing meth paraphernalia in the presence of a child. Her next court appearance is June 8.

Officers searched the home and found 0.5 grams of meth in a bedroom. Another bedroom was clearly a child's room, with a crib and toys belonging to Anderson's 2-year-old child.

A safe was located in the kitchen and contained 31.2 grams of meth and a common drug cutting agent packaged in multiple bags and 28 grams of marijuana. Also located in the home were numerous baggies with meth residue, pills, digital scales, a marijuana grinder, pipes, bongs and other paraphernalia.

During an interview with Anderson, she said she allowed Siegfried to stay at the home, that they smoked meth and marijuana that Siegfried provided there and that the child was living at the home. Seigfried has a prior conviction for cocaine possession with intent to distribute in August 2007 in Oneida County, Wis.
