Kandiyohi County Fair begins

WILLMAR — Preparations for the Kandiyohi County Fair began on Monday and will continue until the fair opens to the public at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

On Monday local 4-H clubs were preparing stands to advertise their group, Willmar Public Works employees were setting up the stage that will host a number of bands, merchants were setting up food stands and others were cleaning buildings and delivering commodities to prepare for the Kandiyohi County Fair.

The afternoon today will be filled with open class non-livestock entries, 4-H project judging, livestock interviews, 4-H rabbit entries, poultry entries and banding, Cloverbud horse training and conference judging and all non-livestock project judging.

The fair begins on Wednesday and runs every day until Saturday at 10 p.m.
