Olivia man faces drug charges for alleged sales to informant

WILLMAR -- Idulfo Zavala, 30, of Olivia, made his first court appearance Monday on first- and second-degree drug sale charges for selling prescription narcotics to a CEE-VI Drug Task Force informant in October and November.

Unconditional bail was set at $400,000 with conditional bail at $200,000. His next appearance is Jan. 31 in Kandiyohi County District Court.

According to the complaint against Zavala, he sold 65 Adderall pills, which contain amphetamine and are a Schedule II narcotic, and 217 hydrocodone pills, which are a Schedule III narcotic.

The informant, who had previously purchased drugs from Zavala, allegedly purchased the drugs on seven occasions in Willmar and in Olivia from Oct. 20 to Nov. 10. The informant positively identified Zavala by a booking photo from Renville County law enforcement.
