Reports: Trump to push out adviser Bannon

Municipal Utilities Commission to meet later today in Willmar, Minn.

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Municipal Utilities Commission will meet at 11:45 a.m. today in the chambers at the utilities building, 700 Litchfield Ave. S.W.

The commission will act on a proposal to conduct an organizational assessment study of the utility; will consider extending the contract with federal lobbyist David Turch and Associates; will consider a request for approval for consultant services for the water plant improvement project; and receive the interim co-manager report.

The commission is considering three proposals for the organizational assessment.

According to the Labor Committee's minutes from Jan. 27 included in the informational packet for today's meeting, Commission President Dave Baker made a motion seconded by Commissioner Carol Laumer to recommend Springsted Inc. as the firm to conduct the study, contingent on contacting references.

According to the minutes, the three proposals are as follows: Schulte Associates LLC in Eden Prairie with a cost of $35,000 plus expenses; Springsted Inc. of St. Paul with a cost of $17,500 plus $1,200 in expenses; and Raintek USA LLC from Vallejo, Calif., with a cost of $29,970.
