A Day in the Life 2: The West Central Tribune logs 24 hours in west central Minnesota today
The West Central Tribune wants to hear from you.
Today, newspaper staffers will once again spend an entire 24-hour period compiling photos, videos and text to document a day in the life for residents of west central Minnesota.
It’s all part of our annual Focus edition, scheduled to publish in April. Last year’s edition was so well received (and fun), we’ve decided to do it again. Please help us tell these stories: birthdays, haircuts, card games, rehearsals, a recital, church fundraiser, you tell us and we’ll do our best to be there.
Perhaps you work at a hospital or clinic. Let us know the patient volume.
Work in a bar or restaurant? How many burgers or beverages do you serve on a daily basis? Going bowling? What score are you trying to top?
Nothing is mundane.
For those events we can’t attend, we urge you to submit your own photos, videos or a written anecdote. Diaries are also welcome, they may be as detailed or simple as you wish, as unique as you are, and may cover your entire day or simply a portion of your day. All submissions, including diaries for the day, should be emailed as soon as possible to firstname.lastname@example.org, but no later than March 1.
As an added bonus this year, a fifth section will include more complete diaries in the printed edition; last year a number of them were only available online in their entirety.
For more information, please call the Tribune at 320-235-1150, email email@example.com or visit facebook.com/westcentraltribune; use hashtag #WCT24 on facebook and Twitter.
Together, let’s make today a day to remember.
