ACGC narrows down list of superintendent finalists
GROVE CITY — After interviewing six candidates Thursday and Friday, the list of finalists for the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City School superintendent has been narrowed down to three.
The list includes Brian Koslofsky, who is currently the superintendent at neighboring MACCRAY Public Schools, which includes the communities of Maynard, Raymond and Clara City.
The other finalists are Kristopher Lynk, principal at Sartell-St. Stephen Public Schools and Nels Onstad, director of educator licensing at the Minnesota Department of Education in Roseville.
The ACGC School Board will conduct a second-round of interviews at 4 p.m. Thursday at the media center at the Junior/Senior High School in Grove City.
The interview is open to the public and questions can be submitted by ACGC school staff and community members.
Sherri Broderius, who has worked 34-years at ACGC and currently has a dual role as superintendent and principal, is retiring June 30.
A contract for a new superintendent expected to be approved March 16.
ACGC contracted with the Minnesota School Boards Association to provide guidance and assistance with the search that was based on criteria established by the school board.
The initial pool of candidates included 27 applicants.
