Highway 23 Coalition lobbies for completing two-lane gaps
The Highway 23 Coalition is participating today in the Minnesota Transportation Alliance Safety Awareness at the State Capital in St. Paul.
The Transportation Alliance message is calling for a state investment in transportation infrastructure by Minnesota to improve safety across the state. April is Distracted Drivine Awareness Month and also features National Work Zone Awareness Week.
Members of the Highway 23 Coalition are also discussing the need for better safety as a critical need for completing the four-lane projects for the remaining two-lane segments on the state trunk highway between Willmar and Interstate 94.
The Highway 23 Coalition also met with Department of Transportation Commissioner Charlie Zelle to discuss Highway 23 investment needs.
