Update: TDS Telecom internet service returning in Kandiyohi County

The TDS Telecom internet service is coming back online in Kandiyohi County, according to user reports.

Update 2:30 p.m.

The internet outage for TDS Telecom internet customers in Kandiyohi County and elsewhere is continuing this afternoon.

The TDS Connect Blog reported at 12:25 p.m. that "Widespread outages continue (across its network). No estimated time of full restoration available; some sites are beginning to come back up. We have our engineering and technical teams working toward a resolution as fast as possible."

The company said there is no need to call in at this time to report the outage as their call volume is already large.

Update 11:30 a.m.: TDS Telecom internet outage reported in Kandiyohi County

Internet customers with TDS Telecom in Kandiyohi County and elsewhere are experiencing a service outage since about 9:25 a.m. Friday.

Earlier this morning, TDS Telecom tweeted "Attn @tdstelecom customers: We have an outage impacting multiple locations and services. Field Services working to restore services; no ETR>"

TDS Telecom currently has no estimated time for restoring the internet service.

The website Downdetector.com is reporting TDS Telecom outages across Minnesota, Wisconsin and other states.

Users are reporting experiencing long waits on hold when calling TDS Telecom support.
